1. Patients who will receive I.V. Sedation or general anesthesia must have NO FOOD OR DRINK, including water, after midnight on the night before surgery unless otherwise instructed by their surgeon. Some medications may be continued and this will be discussed at your consultation.
2. A responsible person must accompany you and remain in our office during your treatment. They must also be able to drive you home. Do not plan to drive an automobile the day of the procedure.
3. Any unmarried patient under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the time of surgery (or have written consent from them at the time of operation).

1. Do not take anything to eat or drink after midnight on the night before surgery; NO FOOD OR DRINK, including water. It is extremely dangerous to have anything in your stomach during the anesthetic.
2. You must arrange for someone to drive you home after the surgery and DO NOT DRIVE for the remainder of the day. Your driver must come into the office to pick you up.
3. Any unmarried patient under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the time of surgery (or have written consent from them at the time of operation).
4. Eat a light, easily digestible meal the night before the operation. Do not drink alcoholic beverages the night before.
5. Wear clothing with sleeves which are easy to push up.
